Adult Education Office


Description:

Adult Education Courses available, located in the Wasse Abin High School at 2:30pm till 9:30pm.

Independent & Group learning available. Regular classes available. Other classes available on demand. Earn your high school diploma, or upgrade your marks for post-secondary education, or develop your practical literacy and numeracy skills. 

Youth Career Centre


Description: Working under the umbrella of Enaad-maa-ge-jik. Offering: career opportunities, apprenticeship programs, and a wide variety of employment programing is made available to all members of the community. 

Ambulance Station


Description: Provides Emergency Paramedic Services responding to 9-1-1 phone calls. 

Wiky TV 5


Description: Acting as a community bulletin, informing community members with local news, events and various video productions on a local channel Wiky TV 5.

Amikook Centre


Description:

Amikook is a community senior centre.

Providing activities for the elderly as well as providing a meals on wheels program. Also allowing community members to rent the centre for various activities.

RBC Agent


Description: Acting as an agent of the Royal Bank of Canada. Providing bank services such as: deposits, withdrawals, cheque cashing, and bill payments.

Arena (Recreation Cultural Centre)


Description: A Recreation and Cultural Centre where various community/private events are held or hosted. 

Addiction Services Incentive (A.S.I)


Description:

An employment-based program, which assists Ontario Works clients whose addictions pose as a barrier to gaining and/or maintaining employment.

ASI assists in childcare, transportation while participants attend treatment or services and programming.

Band Office


Description: Band administration building that manages many aspects of Wikwemikong Reservation such as all municipal responsibilities (Lands, Housing, Finance etc.)

Wikwemikong Tribal Police


Description:

The Wikwemikong Police Service Board Corporation is responsible for the overall development and policy of the Wikwemikong Police Service.

Also staying connected with the community by: being involved in youth programs, and making visits to the schools on informing the students on various topics.
